I just have to tell you what a wonderful time we had at Aventura Spa!! Everything was SOOO great from beginning to end. The wedding was beautiful and the service was incredible. It was so much more than I ever imagined 🙂 Everyone who booked within our group were all in the same building and we were just a few rooms away from each other. Also, several of us had ocean view rooms which we weren’t expecting!

Thank you for the card in the mail – that was so nice! I sent you a few pictures this morning. Yes, we got our photo album and DVD in the mail yesterday already and I am so happy with them. We used the resort photographer and then my brother-in-law took tons of pictures for us too. We are sooo happy with the way the pictures turned out.

Everything went so smoothly. At times, I did not feel like an ‘easy bride’, but I’m glad you think so! I tried to keep things in perspective, but I have a tendency to worry about things also.

I would definitely recommend a destination wedding. I would NOT change a thing about our wedding! Destination wedding brides need to be willing to let go of control and have faith that everything will work out when they get there. Small things may go wrong, but the guests will never know this!

I would recommend Palace Resorts, especially Aventura Spa. The resort grounds were beautiful and had so many photo opportunities! Even though there is no ‘real beach’ at Aventura, there are so many other wonderful things about this resort that make up for it. I would have to say that the communication beforehand was a bit frustrating at times – slow responses back and different answers from different people. However, our wedding coordinator, Cristina Suarez, had everything in order for our meeting and followed through on every little detail. We took decorations along with us and gave them to her 2 days before the wedding and she did a fantastic job making everything look so nice. The service at Aventura Spa was out of this world (except the restaurants were a little slow). They truly did an amazing job and everything was done by them saying ‘my pleasure’.

VIP did such an awesome job coordinating our group and making the reservations for our guests. Jennifer was the communication between myself and the resort and took care of everything free of charge! They were such a joy to work with and responded very quickly to any questions/concerns that my guests or I had. It is nice to know that they care about your vacation as much as you do! Planning a destination wedding was a bit stressful in the beginning, until VIP became my travel agent and took care of all the little details for me. They have the contact people at the resorts and are able to get answers much quicker than the average person.
