We’re back! First of all, we had an awesome trip! It was so much fun. I must say we were a little nervous to go to Mexico for the first time but everything you told us about Mexico was true. We felt safe the entire time we were there and it was beautiful.  Lomas shuttle service was professional, nice, and easy to work with. When we arrived in Cancun, the automatic machines in customs were down and it was total chaos…no lines, thousands of people trying to get to the 4 agents working the booths to get to get through. It took us 2.5 hrs to get through customs!  Anyway, Lomas was great, I found them outside waiting for us and they took us right over to a vehicle. They put us in their luxury vehicle (a new suburban) and there was only one other couple with us. It was a nice ride, very relaxing after going after what we went through in customs.  Our shuttle back to the airport was also in a luxury vehicle, we only had one other couple with us.

The Hard Rock was perfect. It was a great mix of families and couples. It was relaxing and the staff was wonderful! Our room was great, very clean. We loved the atmosphere, there was music playing all the time (I am a huge music fan, I work at a music company and went to school for music!) The music memorabilia everywhere was really cool. We saw a few shows which were great, very entertaining. The shows were good for both families and couples. The Rock Show was our favorite, they had a live band in the theater and they played 80s and 90s rock. We loved it! We also saw a a mariachi band in the lobby and an 80s cover band. There was nightly entertainment. The food was great, the staff remembered us every day when we went for breakfast and they really tried to remember what you like to order. The property was very nice, some of the buildings are undergoing some renovations but that didn’t bother us. The grounds were clean and well kept, gardens were well manicured.  The pools were very nice, they had food options and entertainment daily. The only problem with the pools…they were ice cold! Definitely not heated. Matt went in, I sat on a chair with my ankles in LOL The lagoons were great though, they were a little bit warmer than the pool so we enjoyed looking at the fish and the crabs in the lagoon. Speaking of wildlife, I loved seeing the iguanas and the capybaras, our daughter is obsessed with capybaras and I was sending her pics every day! The hotel staff also told us where to find the spider  monkeys so we went and found them on our last night.  So cute!!

I would highly recommend this resort to others and would definitely go back again. It is not a “party” resort, very laid back vibe which is what we wanted. Thank you so much for your services and we were so lucky to have won this trip from you guys! You always answered all my questions in a very timely manner and I trust you and your advice. We always knew that if we ran into complications during travel that you guys would have been right there to help us.  I always tell my friends if they need a travel agent they should call VIP!

We would love to go back and bring our daughter, but I will definitely be booking with you. Thanks again for everything, you rock! I hope our review will help some other clients who may be considering this resort!
