Mike and I are officially home safe and sound from Italy and we had an absolutely amazing time!! The food, wine, sights, weather. It was all incredible! Everything was taken care of and we could simply enjoy our trip. Your advice about euros was helpful– we used our cars for many purchases but did go to a few local places that only accepted cash. Rome was incredible! I swear we walked 7-9 miles every day just trying to soak in as much of getting history and beauty as possible (and shopping of course). I couldn’t believe the driving.. Oh my gosh I could never do it lol. I think our favorite time of day was dinner– when everybody slows down and takes their time. We could savor our meals and just relax. We had gelato literally every day! Sorrento/Capri/Positano were so beautiful. We loved the change of pace from Rome. We were able to swim in the Mediterranean, cruise up the coast on a boat, and enjoy the spectacular scenery of the coastal towns. I did some good shopping too! Thank you so much for your help with everything! It was truly wonderful, and made it stress free. You were so helpful answering our questions and organizing everything for us.
