Our trip was fantastic! We truly had a great experience. No travel issues, transfers and trains were easy to figure out, and no troubles with accommodations at all.

Siena was an incredible place to start – amazing food and wine, and such a cute little city. We loved it! I think this was my favorite place, but we both went back and forth between Siena and Sorrento as being our favorites. Sorrento was obviously a completely different vibe and experience compared to Siena, and definitely more touristy, but we loved it for different reasons! Amazing food, great views, and it was so nice to enjoy some sunshine! We even did a day trip to Capri and got to spend some time on the water which was incredible. I think our favorite excursion was the Fiat tour in Rome! Our guide was so great – he had such a plethora of knowledge surrounding the history of the city, knew all of the spots to take us that were off the beaten path, and we just had such a fun first night there. We both agreed we probably didn’t need four nights in Rome, but we certainly made the most of it and still had such a great time! We especially enjoyed a couple of nights in the Trastevere neigborhood – it was so lively and unique!

Our hotels were great! Our favorite by far was our Sorrento hotel – it was awesome. I would say Siena was a close second, and then Rome! The accommodations in Rome were great, but we felt like the location of the hotel was a bit further from where we wanted to spend most of our time. Though it was convenient given we were right by the train station, so easy in and out!

I think our favorite memories were the days/nights we spent just wandering around and exploring with nothing to do – it was so nice to just pop in and out of different spots for food and drinks! My personal favorite thing about Italy was the gelato. It was delicious! And I think Logan probably tried about 15 different lasagna dishes along the way, lol.
