The trip was so great! We had so much fun and the resort was beautiful. I’ve stayed at a few all-inclusive resorts and I really liked the size of this one. They said there were about 350 rooms in total and everything was super accessible and walkable but at no point did it feel too small. The selection of bars and restaurants was perfect, the coffee shop they had onsite was such a nice touch (especially because I am a coffee over breakfast person lol). There was one main pool with a bar and entertainment which was so fun but 4 other smaller pools if you wanted to relax which was a nice change, and the beach was soo close so you could just pop in the ocean for a bit if you wanted! I also loved the entertainment they had! Each day by the pool there were activities (crafts, exercise classes, cooking classes) and entertainment (carnivals, music, dance classes) which made it so fun and always something to do. Each night they also had such fun shows which made it nice that you didn’t feel like you just had to drink all night as something to do.

Our room was gorgeous, I loved it so much! The swim-up pool was such a fun touch and made it feel so luxurious, we spent a few mornings just laying out on the back deck instead of heading to the pool right away which was such a great option.

I feel like I go into vacations like this expecting the food to be just okay but this resort actually had really great food. We especially loved the Italian and Japanese restaurants, but really all of the food we ate was great. There was also always food available if you needed it, sometimes I feel like at resorts if you get hungry in an off hour, maybe you skipped breakfast or lunch but don’t want to wait for the next meal it’s hard to find a place open to grab a snack but Live Aqua had a few options (Sports Bar, Coffee Shop, 3 lunch spots) that had great hours.

The staff at this resort was incredible. We loved everyone we met while we were there; the entertainment staff was soo great, especially Red who I believe is the head of entertainment. And all of the restaurant staff were so attentive and made you feel like they truly cared about you and your experience, we loved Joel in particular – on our last night he even set up a “special table” for us in the Italian restaurant (pics attached). You also didn’t need reservations to eat at the restaurants which I thought was so great, some reports are so crazy about reservations and you have to plan it all out ahead of time but here you could truly just decide the day of which was such a small thing that I loved.

Each night there was a show or some sort of entertainment going on which was so nice that people were out and about. We also did a dune buggy excursion one day that the resort staff set up for us which was so fun and seamless to plan.
