Nick and I had such a great time at Secrets Tulum! When we flew into the airport the pilot said the Tulum airport was brand new- it opened March 31st! We had no issues with Amstar, they were great. It took about 40ish minutes to get from the airport to the resort. The resort is very beautiful! Our room was also so nice and had a great view of one of the pools. The drinks were great and the food was pretty good. I was not blown away by the food, but it was still very good. There was a steakhouse, a Japanese restaurant, and a Mediterranean restaurant.

The pools were all beautiful! All of them, except the rooftop pool, were surrounded by sand I think to make up for it not being a beachfront property. I think because it’s a new resort, it was not crowded at all so we had no problems getting seats at the pool and beach club. The beach club was awesome! The water was fairly rough but we were still able to swim in the ocean! There was also a pool, a bar, and a restaurant at the beach club which was really nice. And the shuttle from the resort to the beach club was very reliable and only took like 15 minutes! It drove through a bit of Tulum with lots of shopping and restaurants off the resort. I think a lot of people went off the resort to some of the clubs in Tulum, so night life was pretty dead on the resort itself, but we didn’t mind that.

The resort had entertainment every night which was awesome. The staff was so friendly and was really trying to get people to come to the events and get involved!  Lots of weddings there that weekend too and we also saw a couple from bachelor in paradise there on a brand trip I think to promote the resort since it’s so new!

Overall, we had such a great time! A good mix of relaxation and party! We were very sad to leave, but are excited about more trips to come in the future! Thank you so much for all of your help in planning our trip. You made it so easy and stress free. Here are some pics of our vacay!
