Thank you so much and thank you for planning such a beautiful trip for us, Liz! We enjoyed every minute of it and we wish we could be back there now!
Unico was amazing!!! The resort was so gorgeous, spotless and so relaxing! The small details were everything! We enjoyed the premiere experience of it all! Our room was so perfect! When we go again sometime, we are definitely doing a swim-up room again! The main pools were so hot by mid day and we loved being able to go back to our pool to cool off and have some privacy!
We have several memories we could consider our favorite! We did a private chocolate making class that was over an hour of tasting chocolate and making a dozen truffles to bring home! We also took a private mixology class with one of the two mixologists at the resort! She taught us how to make an incredible margarita with spices on the rim instead of just salt! She also taught us the history of the margarita and all about different tequilas! She was very fun and also told us that all of fresh ingredients in our drinks at the resort are hand made by her every morning! Both classes may be our favorite part of our trip!
We loved the three live shows we saw in the lounge at night too! The performers were so talented! Dancer and singers!
Our favorite souvenir was our photoshoot! The shoot itself was included in our stay and we paid per photo! Photos are my favorite, so I searched Unico Facebook groups until I found someone who could tell me more about the photography at the resort! Our photographer was so talented and captured our love and the beauty of the resort so well!
The food was just delicious everywhere we went and the drinks were top notch! Our stay was during their Summer Superbia so their main restaurant had a special chef that served a 7 course dinner one night that was to die for! That was our favorite followed by the Italian restaurant! We weren’t impressed with the Teppanyaki at the Asian restaurant, but we tried their sushi and sit down dinner a few nights later and that was phenomenal! All of the food staff were such kind people everywhere we went! Actually everyone working at the resort was kind! They made us feel like family!
You are the best, Liz! We are grateful for all of the work you put in for us to have such a great trip! Thank you for helping us push back the trip in the first place and for making it perfect once we finally were ready to go! You truly went above and beyond with all of our flight craziness and my name change as well! Those were all little set backs that we would have been way more stressed about without your help!
We cannot wait to book another trip with you soon! We’re not sure where yet! Probably Disney again in the next year or so and then maybe something else! We for sure want to do something big for our 10 year anniversary in 4 years too!
