"We would absolutely recommend getting married at Unico!"

Hi Jennifer, so sorry I haven’t gotten back to you! We would absolutely recommend getting married at Unico! All of our guests will agree the resort was incredible, unlike any other they’ve visited before. The wedding planning team, particularly Maribel, the onsite wedding coordinator, couldn’t have done more for us. After meeting with her, we had the utmost confidence our day would be perfect.

One thing I would not do again is hold the ceremony at 4pm. We were told to have it at this time so that our photos afterwards would be at the perfect sunset time. 4pm was extremely hot and many of us were squinting for our photos that were taken around 4:30- 5pm. Id ask for a later time, but that of course, depends on the time of year and when the sun is setting.

We really loved our wedding day very much and neither of the above “issues” could’ve tarnished it in any way. But what we really loved was the next day when we were both so relaxed and about 40 people from our group took over one pool at the resort. THAT was our favorite part of the trip.

If any of your brides wish to contact me, I’d love to speak with them. I know that’s all I wished for going into it, to have someone who had gotten married at Unico.
