"Secrets was fantastic!"
Secrets was fantastic… the rooms were very nice, reminiscent of a “W” type hotel. When seeing the room we definitely felt like we were staying at a high end resort. Very spacious, with walk in showers, flat screen TV’s, oversized tubs and extremely comfortable beds. The food was very good, for an all inclusive, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. Everyone was personable and wanted to make sure your experience was perfect. They seemed to be really striving to make sure you would give them a good review. The resort had much more of a social vibe, where folks were out more at night at the Piano Bar and club… definitely a place for folks who enjoy a active nightlife atmosphere.
Beaches were ok, I believe they are man-made, as they were very rocky. The reef comes close to the resort, so they block in the part of the ocean you are allow in, which was kind of a bummer. The pools were fun, swim up bars were great, and they had some activities such as volleyball, and snorkeling available at no charge. Both were worth doing.
The wedding facilities were very nice as well. Monica was a great coordinator, making sure that all our needs were attended to. We had an hour delay due to rain, and she did a fantastic job of juggling several things to make sure our beachside wedding was perfect. Also the minister, Trevor, was fantastic. Made us feel both at ease, lead us efficiently through the ceremony, and everyone loved the service.
We look forward to returning to Secrets, soon… between it and Sandals, we felt we got more for our money at Secrets.
